New Fortress City & Major Battle in the “Wheel Of Time” Episode 7 Trailer

The teaser for “The Wheel of Time” episode 7 shows a new fortress city and a massive conflict that will take place in the series’ penultimate episode. After premiering in November, Prime Video’s epic fantasy series Wheel of Time had the biggest premiere of 2021 for the streamer. The show is based on Robert Jordan’s novels, the first of which was published in 1990. It follows Rand, Egwene, Perrin, Mat, and Nynaeve, a group of villagers from Emond’s Field in the Two Rivers. Moiraine, a member of the magical Aes Sedai, leads them on an amazing quest.

Moiraine is on the hunt for the Dragon Reborn, a legendary figure that is reincarnated every few thousand years and is tasked with defeating the Dark One, the “Wheel of Time’s” antagonist. The Emond’s Field five embarked on a treacherous voyage in the first six episodes of the series, splitting up in the process, but they were reunited for the second half of their mission in Tar Valon, the Aes Sedai’s headquarters. The sixth episode of The Wheel of Time concluded on a significant cliffhanger, with the gang set to embark on a deadly journey into the Ways via a Waygate. One of them, Mat, decides not to go in, and it’s unclear where the others are headed at this time.

Now, a new teaser for “Wheel of Time” episode 7 from Prime Video reveals their destination: Fal Dara, a fortress city in what appears to be a desert-like section of the planet. The Emond’s Field Five will gather there to prepare for their journey to the Eye of the World, where the Dark One is imprisoned. However, Moiraine cautions the group that anyone who does not identify as the Dragon Reborn risks being slain. Intermingled with bursts of major action and massive conflict, including a look inside the Ways, this is interspersed with flashes of major action and huge conflict. Take a look at the video below:

As the “Wheel of Time” approaches its conclusion, the identity of the Dragon Reborn remains a huge mystery. Ultimately, the show looks prepared to reveal the person’s identity heading into the season 1 finale, but happily, that won’t be the end. “Wheel of Time” season 2 has already been renewed by Amazon, and production has been underway for quite some time.

“Wheel of Time’s” season 2 casting has already hinted at the story for the upcoming season, but with so many book revisions, many lifelong fans of the series will still be kept in the dark. The inevitable showdown with the Dark One in the “Wheel of Time’s” season 1 finale, which will air next Friday, is the most exciting of all. But first, it appears that Nynaeve and Moiraine’s feud isn’t quite ended yet, and it will be resolved in the next two episodes.
