What Is Seong Gi-Hun’s Plan After The Final Scene Of Squid Game?

Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), the protagonist of “Squid Game”, is alighting a train on his way to the airport in the ninth and last episode. Gi-hun is finally travelling to the United States to meet his daughter and try to become the parent he’s always wanted to be, thanks to the billions of Korean won he was given after winning the Squid Game – one of the main reasons he volunteered for the games in the first place. As Gi-hun exits the train for the airport, he notices The Salesman (Gong Yoo of Train to Busan) using a game of ddakji to recruit someone for “Squid Game”, which is how he was recruited himself.

The Salesman manages to avoid a confrontation, so Gi-hun confronts the person with whom he was playing ddajki, begging him not to go and even snatching The Salesman’s card. Gi-hun dials the number on the card as he prepares to board his flight and exchanges threats with the “Squid Game” agent on the other end of the line. Gi-hun suddenly hangs up the phone, turns around, and sprints out of the boarding gate, a determined expression on his face. Is this a hint that Gi-hun intends to infiltrate or eliminate “Squid Game”? If that’s the case, couldn’t the VIPs simply grab his billions? Is his money safe, given that it was provided to him by the late originator of the Squid Game, Oh Il-nam (Oh Young-soo)?

Is Hwang Jun-Ho Still Alive At The End Of Squid Game?

One of the major unanswered concerns in “Squid Game” is whether or not police officer Hwang Jun-ho is still alive. Jun-cover ho’s is broken, and he is followed by the Front Man and his armed guards after successfully entering the island and gathering more than enough evidence to imprison “Squid Game’s” workers and VIPs. Jun-ho is surrounded by the Front Man, who turns out to be In-ho (Lee Byung-hun), Jun-long-lost ho’s brother who he was searching for on the island.

When In-ho fails to persuade Jun-ho to surrender, the Front Man shoots him in the shoulder and Jun-body ho’s slides off the cliff into the sea. However, neither his body nor a scenario in which In-ho or one of the armed guards completes the job is shown. There’s a chance Jun-ho is still alive because the shoulder shot isn’t lethal and he falls into the sea. Will Jun-ho make an appearance in Season 2 of “Squid Game”? If that’s the case, will Gi-hun and Jun-ho ultimately band up to infiltrate or eliminate “Squid Game”?

How And Why Did In-Ho Become The Squid Game Front Man?

Jun-ho managed to go into the Front Man’s inner sanctum and locate “Squid Game’s” huge archives of player files before being shot by In-ho. The archives are housed in a vast room full with physical folders, with files dating back to the 1990s. The folders contain extensive information on anyone who has ever worn the “Squid Game” player tracksuit, proving the organizers’ assertions that they know everything there is to know about the players who are chosen to participate.

Jun-ho discovers that his lost brother In-ho won the “Squid Game” in 2015 after reading through these folders. This, however, does not explain how or why In-ho rose through the ranks of “Squid Game” to become Front Man. Will he return to take Il-place nam’s in “Squid Game” season 2 as a result of this?

Who Are The Other VIPs Betting On Squid Game?

“Squid Game” discloses near the end of the series that VIPs get together to wager on the outcomes of each of the death games. “Squid Game” only shows the faces of two VIPs, despite the fact that there are several.
