According to recent audience figures, “House of the Dragon’s” premiere significantly outperformed “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” The two fantasy prequel shows have now both had their much-anticipated premieres after months and months of anticipation. “The Rings of Power” takes viewers back in time to the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, while “House of the Dragon” takes place in Westeros roughly 200 years before Game of Thrones.
