The first look at footage from Prime Video’s JRR Tolkien adaption set in the same setting as “Lord of the Rings” has arrived in the form of the Rings of Power teaser trailer. “The Rings of Power”, arguably the most anticipated television show of 2022, has been a major project for the streamer. After previous CEO Jeff Bezos famously declared that he wanted the next Game of Thrones, Amazon bought the rights to the show in late 2017. Since then, Tolkien fans have been waiting for the series to come into view with bated breath.
“The Rings of Power’s” first look photos were recently unveiled, previewing the epic tale. In addition, Prime Video has unveiled a set of character posters that tease the show’s enormous cast. The first facts regarding the show’s plot, which takes place during Middle-second earth’s age, were released alongside the posters and first look pictures. Morfydd Clark’s Galadriel, who was played by Cate Blanchett in Peter Jackson’s original trilogy, will be one of the most prominent characters. Many of the first look photographs centered on Clark’s interpretation of the character, hinting at how important she would be to the plot as Sauron climbs to power throughout the course of the show’s events.
