Harley Quinn and Clayface From “Gotham Knights” are Now Public, With a New Release Date of October 21

New “Gotham Knights” gameplay footage, which focuses on the antagonists that Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin will face in the game, was unveiled at Gamescom 2022 by the game’s developer, WB Games Montréal. The updated versions of Harley Quinn and Clayface, terrorizing Gotham alongside Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls, are shown in the trailer created by WB Games Montréal.

After so many games in 2022 were postponed, the trailer’s final scene reveals that “Gotham Knight’s” release date has actually been accelerated. Gotham Knights will now go on sale on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on October 21 instead of October 25, as originally planned.

After Batman passes away, Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin are left to carry on his mission in “Gotham Knights.” The four vigilantes will have to forge new alliances within the Gotham City Police Department and face off against some of Batman’s greatest foes while operating outside the Belfry alongside Alfred. The outcome of their conflict will be the revelation of the Court of Owls.

The four playable characters in “Gotham Knights” were chosen especially by WB Games Montréal to be Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Barbara Gordon, and Tim Drake. Tim can better explore what it means for a Robin to lose their Batman, and Barbara and Jason are in the game to finally explore the shared history of trauma between Batgirl and Red Hood and how that connects the two of them to Batman in a way that many others can’t. As a result, “Gotham Knights” doesn’t use Stephanie Brown or Damian Wayne’s Robin.

“Gotham Knights” will explore Batgirl and Red Hood’s trauma.
