There are dozens of unique and interesting armaments to acquire and employ in “Elden Ring”, but few players would argue that weapons that cause blood loss are among the most powerful. As a result, it’s understandable that you’d want to discover one that satisfies your requirements while also looking good. That’s where the River of Blood katana, with its blood-soaked blade, comes in, and lucky for you, we know where you can get your hands on one.
Rivers of Blood are described.
Rivers of Blood is a katana that takes 12 Strength, 18 Dexterity, and 20 Arcane to wield and may quickly cause blood to pile up. Its weapon skill Corpse Piler is unique to the weapon and unleashes a barrage of bloody assaults that can completely decimate your opponents. The item description for River of Blood reads:
Weapon of Okina, swordsman from the Land of Reeds. A cursed weapon that has felled countless men. When Mohg, the Lord of Blood, first felt Okina’s sword, and madness, upon his flesh, he had a proposal, to offer Okina the life of a demon, whose thirst would never go unsated.
Rivers of Blood can be found in the following locations.
Rivers of Blood can be found in Mountaintops of the Giants, a late-game region. The Church of Repose may be found in the southeast of the map once you’ve completed the main quest chain and obtained entry to this biome. As you approach the chapel, you’ll be confronted by an NPC named Bloody Finger Okina, who is wielding the Rivers of Blood katana, which you must steal from him.
Okina is a difficult fight because he’s incredibly aggressive and can inflict a lot of blood loss for a lot of damage. Punish him while he tries to heal and keep on top of him with similar ferocity, and he’ll quickly crumble. When he does, you’ll get the Okina Mask as well as your true prize: the Rivers of Blood katana you’ve been looking for.
