By claiming property in Scotland in an upcoming “Elden Ring” competition, gamers will be able to become an Elden Lady or Elden Lord. The Lands Between, an immense fantasy world ruled by multiple demigods, will be the setting for FromSoftware’s open-world action role-playing game. FromSoftware recently released a launch video for “Elden Ring”, which showed off never-before-seen locations and bosses in advance of the game’s February 25 release date.
“Elden Ring“, like Demon’s Souls and the Dark Souls trilogy, is an in-depth ARPG in which players must traverse a cruel realm and defeat merciless bosses. “Elden Ring”, on the other hand, will enable gamers the flexibility to explore The Lands Between on horseback at their leisure, unlike the developer’s previous soulslike games, which featured primarily linear level design. The setting’s backstory was created by George R. R. Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire, who was then used by FromSoftware to create the game’s tale. “Elden Ring” lore alterations, according to the developer, will surprise George R. R. Martin since the gods he created will emerge in-game as distorted shadows of their former splendour.
Bandai-Namco is holding a tournament to make 100 gamers into real-life Elden Lords and Ladies, according to Video Games Chronicle. Winners will receive land near Glencoe, Scotland, thanks to a partnership with Highland Titles, a nature protection organization. The winner of this commemorative parcel of land will receive an official certificate declaring him or her a Lord or Lady. To enter the competition, which runs from February 25 to March 11, players must send an email to eldenlord@bandainamcoent.eu explaining why they or someone they know should be named Elden Lady or Lord. Unfortunately, the certificate will not grant gamers the ability to command the stars, but it will aid in the preservation of lovely Scottish land.
Since its announcement in 2019, gamers have been eagerly anticipating the release of “Elden Ring”, but spoilers in the “Elden Ring” launch trailer threaten to disrupt the experience by giving too much new information. Many people believe the trailer gives away too much of the experience because it covers previously unknown boss confrontations and places. Exploring The Lands Between and uncovering its secrets is such a big part of the anticipation for the game’s release that many gamers have started avoiding official advertising material until they’ve had a chance to play it.
“Elden Ring” is one of the most anticipated games of 2022, and fans of FromSoftware will be able to finally explore The Lands Between on February 25. However, 100 lucky fans will have the opportunity to claim Scottish land and become Elden Lords or Ladies. While George R. R. Martin did not write Scotland’s past, the conserved area is just as magnificent as anything in The Lands Between.
